When hate rules over all,
and we'd rather fight than make peace,
The human race shall fall,
and their rule over the world shall cease.
The wolves shall rise to power in their place,
and once again roam free.
But beware dogs, the domesticated race,
they no longer remember who they used to be.
Together will they reach salvation?
Or will one perish by the others desperation?

Prolouge Wrong place, Wrong time.
A charcoal black wolf with four white paws sat waiting patiently, unmoved by the biting rain that dribbled through his thin pelt. His icy cold amber eyes glanced around the clearing, watching just below the thick forest canopy. Finally, a gray wolf with slightly blue hues to her fur, stepped into the clearing, shaking moisture from her pelt.
"I hate the rain forest"
The fae mused pitifully, sitting down by the charcoal colored brute.
'Don't you?"
Her saphire optics gazed up at the slightly taller canine, admiration showing plainly.
"Does it matter, Song? What are we supposed to do, abandon everything just because my little nightmare won't get her paws wet?"
Song smirked up at the brute, only he could call her nightmare, even if it was actually a part of her name. Nightmare Song just sounded to bleak and forbidding to acomplish what was expected of her.
"So, when?"
Her question was a simple one, that couldn't very well be understood, but the brute nodded in acknowledgment.
"The New moon, under the falls. If all goes well, they won't have the slightest clue about what happened until it's to late"
The brute chuckled, as though something he had said was funny. The grey fae looked pleased with his words.
"You always do come up with the best plans, Charcoal"
Charcoals tail gave a wag as the two wolves watched the rain fall in sheets through the canopy of the rain forest.
"Personaly, I can't wait to hear Ryan beg for his life. I'll make him pay for making that pathetic wolf the beta instead of me"
The way Coal spat the word wolf, told plainly what his short fur hinted at; he wasn't a whole wolf, but part dog instead.
The way Song chuckled and nudged closer to him made the same obviously true for her.
"We should be getting back, before we're missed"
Without another word, the two wolf-dogs rose and padded back to where the pack was sleeping peacefully, smug grins imprinted clearly on their features.
Out from behind a large tree, emerged a black-and brown wolf. His amber eyes glowed painfully with fear. The multi-colored wolf had had suspicions before about the two wolves, but planning to make the Alpha, Ryan, beg for his life and undoubtedly kill him was more then he had bargained for. Realizing that the two half-breeds could over-power and kill him if he gave the slightest hint at what he had overheard, the young wolf bloacked the conversation from his mind. He'd tell his Alpha when he thought these plans were more then just useless bables from two angry wolf-dogs.
with that resolution, Obsidian turned to return to the pack, being sure to take a different route then Coal and Song.

Glad you people like it ^.^ the next few shall be longer though...
Chapter 1 Close my ears, and hope it clears
Obsidian hadn't been able to get much sleep the night before, the few dreams that had come to the bi-colored wolf were dreadfull nightmares filled with howls of anguish and pain. His eyes drooped as he rose from his soggy nest of grass and moss and looked around the clearing.
The Leaf waters pack had lived in the rain forest for as long as any wolf could remember. Always staying in the same clearing by the large pond until it came time for the Fae's to have their cubs, and even then only a few wolves accompanied them to the dens. Obsidian, being so young and new to the pack (for he came from a rouge mother, and an unknown sire), had never seen the dens, but knew them to be a series of large cuts underneath the falls.
In the clearing where Obsidian stood now, was many bundles of fur-some closer together then others-curled in moss-covered nests much like the one he had crawled from. These were the wolves of the Leaf Waters pack, storng and many in numbers. At the crest of the clearing, laid a bronze wolf roughly the size of a small deer. Any wolf in a hundred leuges could recognize Ryan at the slightest hint of his bronze pelt, and would run if he was mercifull enough to let them. Not far away, was a light silver colored Brute. This was Talon, the Beta of the Leaf-waters pack. Talon was only a hair weaker then Ryan, but managed to throw his weight around enough to gain as much awe as Ryan inceited everywhere he went.
Obsidian tore his eyes away from the magestic pair of brutes with some effort, and searched the clearing for Song and Coal, two of the best hunters known to wolf kind. He found Song without muh effort; she always slept in the same place. However, Coal wasn't anywhere near her. Obsidian frowned, the two of them always slept close enough to pass off for one incredibly huge bi-colored wolf.
"Well, well. You're up early"
Obsidian turned about quickly, resisting with all his might to make his neck fur lie flat. Coal was standing about two feet away from him, and watching him with amber eyes colder then ice.
"I couldn't sleep last night, the rain kept waking me up"
He lied quickly. Coals eyes narrowed slightly, and Obsidian was afraid he knew he was lying.
"Well suck it up, the rain's not going anywhere, and it'll only get colder come winter"
As coal stalked away, Obsidian lt out a breif sigh, glad to be out of the charcoal black wolf's stare. In his opinion, Coals black pelt and cold eyes reflected his soul perfectly.
Obsidian shook his head, how could he think such awfull things about such a great hunter? What happened last night was probably just a dream. Even if it wasn't, Obsidian knew all to well what would happen if he thought it wasn't; Every wolf present would beleive Song and Coal over him, and tell him he was just having nightmares.
No wolf would want that. Letting out another sight, he proded the blue-hued wolf next to him with a forepaw. How she always slept so soundly through the rain, and didn't even stir when she heard Coals voice was an utter mistery to Obsidian.
"Blue. Wake up, it's passed dawn already"
The blueish colored wolf rose her head lazily, and looked around the clearing.
"Why do we have to get up at the crack of dawn, when no one else does?"
She whined, getting to her paws despite her complaints. True, nobody else was up except them, and Coal was only just now waking Song so the two of them could go on a 'morning hunting patrol'.
"Because Talon wanted us to hunt for the older wolves. You know as well, if not better, then I do, that if Jason doesn't get his morning rabbit when he wakes up theres gonna be trouble."
Jason was the oldest wolf in the Leaf Water Pack, and he certainly had the worst temper. Demanding a rabbit evry morning, then complaining when it turned out to be too big (every rabbit was too big for his shriveled stomach).
Blue shook the stiffness from her joints that the rain had invoked, and padded off to the treeline.
"Coming or not?"
She said impatiently. Of course, as soon as they were done she'd just curl back in her nest and sleep off a few hours. Blue had always been a sleeper.
Without another word, Obsidian followed after her, casting one uneasy glance back at where Coal and Song had dissapeared to.
~~~~~
Blue's dark colored jaws were clamped around a rabbit that looked like it had starved to death. The only reason the pair had decided to take the time to carry it back to the clearing was because it might just shut Jason up about the rabbits being to fat. Obsidians paws shuffled uneasily as he debated in his mind whether to tell his old friend what he had heard the other night.
He thought it'd be worth it.
"Hey Blue?"
She grunted a response between the rabbits fur.
"Do you think you could put that down so we can have an intelligent conversation?"
He said without putting much effort in the words. She eyed him before dropping the rabbit at her paws and setleing down to scratch at a flea.
"Whats on your mind?"
Blue listened quitely as Obsidian receited what he had overheard the night before, being carefull not to leave out any details. When he had finished, Blue sighed and looked back at him.
"Your sure you weren't dreaming?"
Obsidian and Blue had been friends since he had arrived at the Leaf Waters Pack, and he knew very well that she would help him at any cost.
"I'm positive. But what wolf would trust my word over Coals? Or Songs?"
Blue had to admit he had a point. Ryan would listen, but whether or not he would beleive them was another question. Then there was Talon. He'd think they were just trying to stir up trouble because of some hunting patrol they didn't want to go on. All-in-all, it wasn't looking to bright for the two young wolves, even if Ryan decided it wasn't some cub-game.
The pair discussed it together as they began walking back to the clearing, the rabbit long forgotten by now.
A lone grey wolf stood rooted to the spot where she had stopped, tail held out straight behind her as an icy feeling of dread crept up her belly.
They know!
Song turned sharply, dashing to find Coal under the leafy canopy. If their plans were to be fufilled, the two wolves who knew must be rid of. Tonight was the half-moon, soon, it would be time to dispose of the alpha and beta.
But before that, the young traitors!"
A sneer parted her features as a plan began forming in the grey fae's corupted head.
Chapter 2 Silence be not of gold
Coals growling was clearly audibly as he paced before Song. The grey she-wolf had alerted him to a flaw in their plan, involving two younge wolves. One of which was no obstacle, since Coal had planned to kill it since his important discovery over a month ago.
"So they think they can tell Ryan do they? Well, we may have to speed things up so they keep quiet"
Song nodded. The new moon was the time for secrets, the two dogs knew that well. The darkest night of the moon cycle was excelent exspeacialy for keeping murders silent.
"You mean killing the prince, or Ryan himself?"
Coal looked up at her, eyes narrowed. He hated referring to the young wolf as a prince, since he would likely never see the chance to become an alpha if Coal had a say in the matter, which he would of course i things went to plan.
"The prince will have a little accident, sooner then planed, but Ryans night will remain the new moon"
Song nodded again. The original plan was to dispose of the younge prince last, after Talon had died in search of Ryan. But things had a strange way of turning when least expected.
"I'll go now, I promise that the voice of the two wolves shall be silenced under my fangs"
As Coal dissmissed her with a flick of his charcoal colored tail, Song dissapeared into the leafy canopy. His white paws finally stopped moving, as Coal sat down with a huff and stared up at the stars.
Obsidian huh? He'll pay. With everything in him and everything he is, He'll pay.
~~~~~
Obsidian and Blue chatted insistently among themselves as they cleaned away the bones of the elder wolves' meals. They had been punished by Talon for not bringing Jason his morning rabbit. Their talk was mostly whispers about what they would tell Ryan about, and how they'd get him alone to tell him. At least it was, before Ryan himself, in all his gold-furred glory, stepped down from the hill where the alpha and beta slept.
Obsidian looked at the older wolf with awe in his amber eyes, watching the sun glint off his pelt with an admiring gleam not hidden in the least.
"Do you always make it a habbit to stare at Ryan whenever he walks by?"
Blue said with an irritated edge to her brisk voice.
"I don't stare, I just think it's stupid that anything would want him dead, and was wondering what about him they could hate"
Obsidian felt embarrased, he did always stare at Ryan. The older wolf was just to admirable to turn away from. Blues words again caught him off-guard;
"You look sorta like him, minus the fur color though"
He looked back at her with suprise evident on his wolfish features. Him? Look like Ryan? Blue must be seeing things.
At the disbelief that showed all to plainly in Obsidians amber eyes, Blue just laughed.
"You should talk to him more often, I think he watches you as much as you watch him"
Obsidian knew she was teasing him now, Ryan had better things to do then watch some rouges cub.
He batted a paw at Blue's ear, and returned to his cleaning chores, only to be interupted by a light chuckle from above him. He groaned, thinking that Blue knew he was flustered by her words, and wa about to say something when a strong voice intruded his thoughts.
"Hunting not very good today?"
Obsidian looked up, reognizing the voice; Ryan was standing over him.
"No, we didn't find very much"
He tried to make his voice sound calm, but could barely keep it from cracking when he saw Talon, watching over Ryans shoulder. Talons expression was unreadable, as always, but Ryans face held a warm glow that made Obsidian really think about Blue's words.
Ryan looked down at the remains of the elders meals.
"Care to come with Talon and Myself and try again? Theres a group of Yearlings that was itching for a simple task earlier, they could finish up here."
Obsidian could barely beleive his ears, Ryan was asking him on a hunting mission?
Before Obsidian could open his mouth to reply, Song walked up to the group, seemingly out of nowhere.
"Ryan, there was traces of a mountain Lion around the hunting grounds, fresh by the scent of things"
The glance she threw Obsidian was enough to tell Ryan she didn't think it would be safe to bring him anywhere right now, and enough to tell Obsidian that she didn't want him near Ryan.
"Thats a shame. Talon, be sure to post extra guards arounds the dens and the elders nests'."
Talon dipped his head at the alphas words, and hurried away to comply. Ryan looked back at Obsidian.
"Sorry, guess that mission'll have to wait, eh?"
Ryan gave Obsidian a sad look, before turning away to see to the mountain lion problem.
Obsidian looked up at Song, shivering with unease at the cold look in her eyes.
"What a shame that a runt like you should have such a weight on his shoulders. This is your only warning, Say a word to Ryan about something that doesn't concern you, and you, your Fae over there, and your sire, will all die a horrible and painfull death"
Obsidian felt cold dread clutch at his belly, She knows I know! Shock registered shortly after, she knew who his father was? Without asking--He knew she wouldn't tell him anyway--Obsidian sank into a submissive posture and looked up fearfully at Song.
The cold look in her saphire eyes was all the answer that was needed. The silver fae stalked away to stand fairly close to where Ryan was ordering a patrol of older hunters to take care of the mountain lion problem.
Blue walked up to Obsidian, who was still lying on his belly sumbissivly.
"What just happened?"
She calmly demanded of the brown-and-black brute.
"Our mission just got alot harder"
