For centuries it seems, dogs, the descendents of the wolves, have walked the earth by the side of humans. While meanwhile, the once great wolf all but dissapeared from existance. Drastic changes occur almost overnight, at least to the humans. For as long as the first wolf crawled into human camps, a prochhecy has been wispered among all canines;
When hate rules in our hearts,
and we'd sooner kill our brothers then pity them,
Humans will falter and fall,
and the wolf will rise again.
However,
Beware the far away family,
who seeks their lost power.
When the last human had died due to a ravaging sickness, and the dogs became as free as their ancestors, the prophecy was brought into a new light. Wolves and dogs have become the new dominent species, hunting all leser animals, and waring among themselves for the ancient power that was lost to them both;
Lost to the wolves when humans arrived,
Lost to the dogs when human deprived.
All small breeds of dogs were incapable of survival, and the larger breeds mixed together, creating a hybrid race of dogs similar but still different from the wolves who despise them so.
This is the choice formed in canine minds, fight for the survival and dominance of the wild wolf, or the return to power of the domistic dog. But keep in mind;
All traitors are killed upon discovery
